Sevlid Hurtić, Minister

He was born on January 2, 1970 in Doboj. He finished primary and secondary school in Doboj. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, and in 2015 he obtained a master's degree in management. In the same year, he enrolled in doctoral studies and received his doctorate in 2019.

In the local elections of 2016, he was elected as an alderman in the Assembly of the City of Doboj, and won the mandate of alderman in the next elections in 2020. In the period from 2021 to 2022, he held the position of President of the Assembly of the City of Doboj and coordinator for Bosniak issues on behalf of the City of Doboj.

In the General Elections of 2022, as part of the "Movement for the State" coalition, he was elected as a deputy in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska entity. He also held the position of Minister of Trade and Tourism in the Government of the RS.

He is the founder and president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Green political party.

He has been successfully engaged in publishing since 1996. He was also a member of the management boards of sports collectives, supporting the development of sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the framework of his previous work and activity, he has made a great contribution in the field of humanitarian activities, where support for higher quality education of students, as well as vulnerable categories of the population, stands out.

He is married and the father of five children.
